Jesperhus is a family holiday park where accommodation, activities, and a world of characters come together. I led discovery and early app design to explore how that experience could extend into guests’ hands, helping them plan their time and make the most of their visit.

A family staying at Jesperhus needs different things from someone visiting for the afternoon or returning with a season card. They share the same destination, but their plans, access, and practical needs differ. The existing app mainly directed them to services on the website, leaving an opportunity to bring more of the visit into one place. Working directly with stakeholders, I helped define what that app could become: a companion for booking activities, finding your way around, ordering food, and managing a stay. We mapped all three guest journeys to understand where their needs overlapped and where the experience needed to adapt. I then developed digital brand foundations, reusable components prepared for development, and the first app screens. The proposed direction gave Jesperhus’s characters useful roles along the way—Hugo delivering notifications, Dino announcing breakfast—connecting the practical details of a holiday with the personality of the place.
